This emotional song is very personal to Niyati, who witnessed the recent divorce of her parents and
the negative results of family breakdown. “At any age, it’s really difficult to see your parents suffer,
holding onto outdated thoughts and being stuck in their emotions. The song is ultimately about
letting go and allowing everyone to move forward and breath.” House of Dreams builds on the
metaphor of illusions and disillusions, ultimately acknowledging we must evolve past them to find
peaceful resolution. It features glittering piano arpeggios by Bill Risby and Gavin’s spacious electric
guitar.
